Qu’est-ce qu’une digue dentaire?

Utilisées par les dentistes au moment d’une chirurgie, les digues dentaires, faites de latex, peuvent aussi servir de barrière protectrice pour certaines pratiques sexuelles, par exemple un cunnilingus ou un anulingus (caresse buccoanale). La pilule contraceptive d’urgence, souvent désignée par le nom commercial Plan B®, est un médicament que tu peux prendre en vue de prévenir une grossesse. Cette pilule disponible sans ordonnance doit être prise dans les plus brefs délais si tu crains de tomber enceinte pour diverses raisons (relation non protégée, rupture du condom, mauvaise utilisation du contraceptif, y compris le fait d’avoir oublié de prendre ta pilule certains jours, etc.).

Not necessarily!  Condoms are now being marketed in new, fun ways. "One" condom company is a company that is marketing "next generation" condoms and giving you an opportunity to share your design ideas. "One" condoms have been spotted in some stores around the NWT - check them out!

Have you heard? There’s a new vaccine to prevent cervical cancer.

There's a new vaccine that provides protection against a common virus called Human Papillomavirus or HPV.  This virus can cause cervical cancer.

The HPV vaccine will be offered free to Grade 4 girls in the NWT. A catch-up program will also be offered over the next 5 years for girls in grades 9-12.
